MOOTMAG sponsors
#2: October 19, 2007, 01:41:08 AM
Hi, Greg,

I buy from J&P regularly.  I will try to let them know that their sponsorship is noted and appreciated.  I have found them to be a responsive bunch, and typically start my search for parts & such there.

I don't know how we might make it work, but if we had a way that our members could easily track where they buy stuff, perhaps by forwarding e-mail confirmations (just thinking out loud here), we could give our sponsors feedback that would probably astound them.

Another thought -- if each member would somehow include their MOOT affiliation (& membership number?) somewhere in the order, perhaps the sponsors would accumulate the data -- probably not.

We seem to have a plethora of IT folks in our midst.  Should we pose the problem to them?
