Kickstand Extension

I recently purchased an '03 Magna and have some problems getting the sidestand down, especially without having to dismount.  Does anyone know if the goldwing GL1800 extension will fit, or if there is an extension especially fit for the Magna?

Did someone cut the ball end off your stand?  Other than having to reach pretty far back to find mine, there is no trouble getting it down as it sticks out from under the exhause pipe pretty far.

When I first got mine it was hard to get down but a little grease or a shot of your favorite lube will make a world better other than having to reach back and find it..

It seems to be "tucked" up under the pipes/underbody.  Once I get my foot on it, it swings down pretty easy; the problem is getting to the stand.

It doesnt stick out much, but can be worked usually no problems.  Have a PIC of yours so we can see if it is bent or something??
