Title: Short pegs
Post by: Shortround on July 31, 2005, 05:39:04 PM
Are there longer foot pegs for the '96? Having to keep my foot on the brake peddle gets uncomfortable on longer rides.

If you dig around in some of the links here you find some I am sure you can get floorboards if you would like and kurkyan makes pegs too you have quite a few options...

Hi! Why are you keeping your foot on the brake pedal? It can be adjusted downward, so you foot will not rest on it. It's a simple adjustment to make...floor boards are for Hardleys...didn't they tell you??? Oh my!!!!

I agree with Greg.  I moved the stop adjustment so the pedal is lower.  Of course I had to then adjust the linkage in the rear so the brakes didn't drag...........then I had to adjust the brake light switch.

Now that I have it where I want it and everything is working, I'm happy with it.  Just be aware that it takes a little "tweaking" to get everything just right.
