The warning indicator started to come on a few days ago. I would work the brakes & it would go back off. But now its always on & obviously my brake light isnt working.
So it looks to me like one of the switches is bad, but I wanted to see if anybody else had some ideas!

Here's what ya do...... Grab ya a cold beverage and a can of WD-40. Lay down next to the bike so as you can see the rear brake switch, which is under the bike on the rt side. The switch can easily get gummed up with road grime and start sticking. Spray it liberally while working the switch and it will free up and start working. When done, sit back and enjoy your cold beverage and act like you just saved the world if anyone is looking.
I like the sounds of that!
Im gonna grab a Kokanee & sort this out

I had a similar problem. Mine was in the fuse box where the terminals had gotten a little corroded. Cleaned all the terminals and the ends of the fuses off and that solved it...
I have an intermittent problem with my sidestand sensor keeping the bike from starting. Would spraying WD-40 help that also? Or is there a better suggestion.
Well mine doesnt seem to be stuck, so on to other things...
The front brake switch has a busted wire that needs a new connector put on, but when i touch the bare wire to the connection the light still doesnt go off!
Looks like im going to have to go through the works...

 I've been wondering what that brake light was for.
So if it comes on, the actual brake light is not working?
