I would like to be able to get a bit more mileage out of my '96 Magna between fill ups. I've seen the Valk mod that is on the MOOT site, but I myself am no welder nor do I have access to the tools or any friends in the welding trade. Much less the patience to tackle something like that... :?
Is there an aftermarket tank or anything of the sort that anyone knows about that will be a direct bolt on for a Magna?
Thanks,
Wade

Wade, I have heard of folks getting a small fuel cell from places such as Jegs or Summitt racing and mounting on a luggage rack.
I met a guy from NY that rode his Magna to Eureka Springs, Arkansas with this method in 2001.
This is not my endorsement, just what I have seen.
I personally would find a way to get the Standard Valk tank fitted to the Magna.
I wish I had the tools to do the Mod, I would be making them and selling them, hehehe.
Sorry I don't live closer, I be happy to help with the modification , thats what I did for a living, fabrication. I have been meaning to tell everyone don't throw your damaged tanks away they're not hard to repair. I have priced new tanks $400.00 to $600.00 in this area. Unless they're completely crushed they can be repaired for a fraction of that. I live in Texarkana but if I can help anyone let me know.

Fattank builds a 5 galons tank for the Magna but they want $ 1450.00 for it. I have the chance to look at one in the ROT and looks great on the bike . I am thinking about buy one for my 1994 Magna but is too expensive.
