Title: Foolish question time...
Post by: mainerider on July 13, 2007, 09:09:19 PM
but how do you post your mc pic ( or any pic for that matter) to your signature?  Special authorization needed or am I just missing the instructions?  Thanks.

This is how I did it.

Store your picture somewhere on the Internet. I used geocities.com.  On the profile page in your signature box type in the address of the picture you saved using the tags (//picture%20address)

Mainerider good job.  Nice Magna wish I could see it in one screen.

Just reduce the size of the picture and your there.  I believe in the list of rules there is a maximum size limit.  I think you blew it off the charts

PS
By the way, that's actually a pic of the very rare Magna VF2200C; discontinued after a very brief production run due to its enormous size and weight... :)

Yep, there is a rule about maximum size.  Nobody can have a pic bigger than Greg's Valk.   Kinda like all subjects must not have their head higher than the king's.  Missed the first pic, was it actual size.

Reviewing the requirements it is the Avatar that has a size requirement not a signature picture.
Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 80 pixels, the height no greater than 80 pixels, and the file size no more than 32 KB.

So when I get the Magnum Magna back and a new photo I will need to increase it appropriately.
