Title: battery problem solved???
Post by: rjb/AKA Bob Barram on November 18, 2007, 07:50:10 PM
My battery has been drained after each ride to Houston and back. I went down again this weekend and the battery ran down (fully charged when I left) so I rode back without using my self amplified speakers and the battery got recharged. I thought maybe my alternator was bad but after this test I think that my problem was caused by the new 40 led tailight I put in. When I run my speakers with the new tailight I am thinking it runs down the battery and cannot recharge. I will test it with a meter I saw mentioned in one of the previous threads. If there is too much running is there a way to get more charge power with something different?????
