OK, I have a nice set of pipes thanks to Crash :-D
The pipes I take off are still oem, except for scratches and such. If someone wants a set of pipes to play with I'd be willing to pass mine on, if not they just go to the dump. :?
Any takers?
Lonnie dont dump em, if no one wants them I will take em, I can at least have a set of end plates for anyone wanting to do the mod or go back to stock..
 Thought I could find a taker. Anyone else? I'm away for the rest of the week, so plenty of time to fight over them.
I'd be more than happy to take the pipes off your hands.
What would the freight be to Milford MA 01757?
I plan to powder coat them with crinkle black paint to match my rims, or possibly get ceramic coating.
Scratches or minor imperfections do not matter.
On my original 2000 Magna I drilled out the rivits and replaced them with hex head allen screws for ease of removal. The backer plate is thick enough to be tapped for 1/4" screws. I drilled holes in my baffles (the round part with the insulation in them) until I got the desired effect; about 24 -1/4" holes in each. Yea, they look like Swiss cheese, but my end plate is still stock, and I would describe the sound as "mellow".
Cheers!
Greg

Do you have a pic of your bike and rims? Like to see how the rims look.
Do you have an email address? Or can I post them on here for all to see?
Greg
I do have an email but rather if you could post so all could see.

ok lonnie whats up ? did you get them on yet?
:D OK, update, Got them changed! Now how to pack the ones to ship? I don't think any standard shipping will work.
Shoot I mailed a set of dragpipes through regular mail in Texas anyhow to one of our members here in Texas no insurance for around 9 dollars and some change check your local postoffice regular shipping should not be much !!!
Dont forget that stock pipes weigh a bit more than drag pipes
Yeah but still cheaper than Bashemup PS I bet !!!!!
You mean, Universal Package Smasher.....
Actually I find them pretty close in cost on the things I have shipped. Speaking of shipped I need to get you the stock foot controls.
I work for the post office and if it's a fairly heavy item over 50 lbs I have found that UPS will usually ship it cheaper.
How do you like your drag pipes Crash? I installed a set on my bike a few years back and love the sound of them. They can be a little taxing on ya on a long trip, but not too bad with the radio ear plugs in. I got mine in an attempt to scare the deer away from the road at night. I'd had quite a few close calls with the deer with all the night riding I do and had got to the point I was just about scared to ride at night anymore. After installing the drag pipes, all I ever see of deer at night now is them running off before I get to them.
I installed a set of 55 watt driving lights at the same time, and that helped me see threats a lot farther out as well. The pipes and lights combined, made me feel a lot safer riding at night around here.
Last night I just went out and bought a set of 55 Watt driving lights for my Voyager 1200. It's only got the stock lighting on it now, and I feel blind on it at night compared to the magna.
OK, for an update. Pipes are now switched out on my bike, love the sound with out baffles. My old pipes now belong to Greg  I got the replacement motor cover for my bike from him. My bike got lots of goodies this Christmas. I really had no clue on how to pack the pipes to ship anyway, thanks again Greg and Crash
