Title: 85 v45 magna front wheel removal
Post by: ikkymudd #587 on January 14, 2008, 09:34:13 AM
I want to remove the front wheel to replace the tire.  I have the manual and it shows the axle pinch bolt to be an allen type head but on my bike that bolt is smooth.  I thought maybe it had a cover on it but that doesn't seem to be the case.  I don't see any way to remove it.  What am I missing?

Got a pic (close up ) of the bolt head?

Take a closer look at it, it is a cover on it, take your pocket knife along the edge of it and the cover will pop off and the allen head will be looking at you.

Upon further inspection it does have a cap.  Thanks.
