Title: Engin guard / crash bar installing.
Post by: Magnum Magna on January 28, 2008, 04:11:19 PM

Does anyone have good pictures or instructions on installing the larger 3 rd gen engin guard?

That could be a good FAQ topic.

Sorry I didn't take any pictures of the process when I put mine on.  It is a 3D puzzle for sure.  What finally broke it open for me was the realization that taking the front exhaust headers loose was not that big a deal, and made clearance for easy installation of the engine guard.

To me it looks like I need to remove or tilt the radiator.

Indeed you must.  I saved the instructions.  The attached file is a scan of same, a bit smudged, but readable.

Hope this helps
