Title: 1984 v 45 magna
Post by: icemanbuz on September 13, 2005, 07:16:02 PM
Does anyone know if the frames on a v45 are the same as a v65. The reason I would like to know is I need a new motor on a v45 and i found a good v65 motor for a good price. I would love the extra power also.

The V65 frame is wider and taller than the V45 by about 2 inches in some places. From reading posts concerning frame stiffness and the torque from the V65 engine I don't think the V45 frame would handle any additional stress. It definitely would be a custom job all the way around to make things fit.
