Title: Want to replace Brake and Clutch lines
Post by: ikkymudd #587 on May 17, 2008, 08:41:26 PM
I want to replace the brake line and clutch line on an 85 Magna.  Can I replace with one piece braided SS lines or am I going to have to use the OEM parts?  Any extra parts I will need?

I know that the brake lines can be replacd with the braided lines not sure about the clutch don't see why not nothing else needed except the new lines for the brake lines.

Yes you can replace both with stainless lines. I replaced both of mine on my 86. I got them from Classic Cycle. They are the ones that remanufacture/rebuild Honda carburetors. You can find them on ebay
