I was out in the carport today with the Voyager on it's center stand to check the oil and managed to roll it off it's stand, falling over on it's right side. Luckly, it didn't even get a scratch due to the crash bars on about every corner of the bike.
The bike is a real pain to check the oil level on, it's sight glass is under the case cover and you have to get down on all fours to see the thing. After checking it, I braced myself on the foot peg, to save my bad knee, while getting up and rolled it right off the stand. I just stood there, not believing I had just dumped my bike. It's the first time in over 20 years I have dropped one; at least it was in private in my own carport and the wifes Altima was not in it's usual spot. She was heavy, but it only took me a second to get her back up; it helps when your trying to not let the neighbors see you being stupid.
A little trick for that is a telescoping mirror found at most Autoparts stores sit on the bike upright and put the mirror down there and take a look

When I slid through a very slick creek bottom with the blue magna, I went through the old sequence:
1) Am I OK -- Yes, good.
2) Is the bike OK -- thanks to crash bars, Yes, good.
3) Did anybody seem me? -- No, thank goodness, I need to hurry and get the rubber back on the road before someone comes along. 8) 8)
I was not so lucky the other day. Mine fell over on the trailor and now I have a nice littel crease down the bottom side of my tank. Glad to hear everthing ok with yours. Luckily mine is on the bottom side of the tank and is not that noticeable. Plus I am fixing to have a custom paint job down on it. See you guys at MM. John, I was the same way, anyone see that get it back up fast.
I am glad you and the bike is OK. As in falling your direction, but in that case you could through yourself under it to protect it.
Brenda's Boulevard has a sight glass also. It has no center stand but it is also to be standing up to see oil level. Very annoying. I like the sight glass theory but would like a dip stick for measuring the level.
