I just picked up some seafoam, how much should i put in my tank, and how many tanks does it usually take to start working.
I've heard of seafoam, but what does it do?
Directions are on the can. 3 ounces for the Magna Tank which is 6 tablespoons.
I put some in my tank (3 tablespoons) when I left for MM6 and got 65 mpg that first tank and all weekend I was getting 50 to 55 mpg!
Felicia
I dumped 1/2 can in there at each fill up and it helped me out - probably waaay too much, but worked with no adverse effects.
I use it according to the can directions or double it up at most, usually by the time you finish the can you notice improvement.
If i put it in do i have to take it for a ride immediately or can it sit in the tank over night.
It is my understanding that you can let is sit in the tank for a period of time without it harming anything. Overnight would be okay.
65 MPG!!!!! Holy Cow Felicia!!! That's double my milage. If I would've gone to MM6 and rode with you from Katy, I would've slowed you down at every pit stop.
I thought Seafoam was a fuel stabilizer. ??
I can't explain that. Allen suggested I put some in my tank when he helped me change my rear tire and chain and sprockets.
Before SeaFoam I was getting 45 mpg.

Less filling and it tastes great! (hiccup)
Hey Indonlire,
You said you also changed the sprockets, chain, and rear tire. Were these all the same as stock, or did you change the number of teeth in the sprockets or tire size? These can both effect mileage.
Nope she went all stock dunlop and all !!! She just has control of her throttle hand unlike ME !!!!!!!
Brenda and i rode with her for a whiles Sat at Mootmag, she is a smooth rider..
I too enjoyed riding with felicia Thursday at MOOTmag. Great company!!! :D
