Hi Greg,
I would love to drop in on the wrench session to do some carb work.  Several of us talked at MM#6 about the likely problems with mine not revving over 6K and how it continues to run with the jets screwed all the way in.  The general consensus was the carbs needed to be "gone through".
I guess this is the time to do it!

Bret, I have the complete parts fiche for your bike. Send me an email and I'll get it sent to ya. It will take about 5 or 6 emails to send it or I can make a cd(and add some other stuff) and mail it to you.

A very successful wrench session.

I got the front caliper rebuilt on the VF1000R (Ms. America), enjoyed meeting some new folks, having a meal at the Cotton Gin and another "long way home" ride.

Thanks again to Kristi and Greg for a great wrench session.

When do we ride?

I had a great time, and learned alot new stuff. The company was terrific, met alot of nice people! Got my fork seals done in a timely manner (thought it would take all day).

Thanks again Greg and Kristi for opening your home to us.

Cannot wait till next wrench session, so I can learn more!!!!!!!

Wish I lived closer.  Kind of a long haul from Michigan, but I'll make it down that way sometime.  Maybe next year for a Moot event, if I get my Wing in the spring!  Otherwise, the ol' Tiger still might make the trip, but probably only on a trailer!

I just hope nobody mistakes it for a Harley when I pull up!  LOL!

I am definitely going to try to make it down there next year.  There just isn't much going on with Magnas anywhere else anymore, not like there used to be.  I think this is mostly due to Honda's not making the Magna now, so the guys who do move on can't stay with an improved model of the bike they loved in the first place.  Too bad Honda gave up on the Magna, as we didn't!

But given the choice of going south where I've been several times, or coming to Texas or wherever you have a Moot Mag Rally, the choice is an easy one for me.  Whether it's in the Big Bend area or up toward the Ozarks, I would prefer that over doing the Dragon again.  Not that I don't like riding the Dragon or in that area, but I've been there, done that.  Time to explore new territory.

And I don't know if it will be on a newer Wing or driving down with the Tiger on a trailer yet, but I will try to swing it.  Heck, I might just trailer both so that the Tiger can attend one last Rally.  Have to wait and see what happens.

I just hope I can stand the heat!

It will depend on a few things going right for me, but everything looks good for a Texas visit next year.  When do you usually have the Moot Rally?  Is it always in June, or are there other events at different times of the year?  Sometimes it is difficult to get my vacation time in June, but I may be able to make another event of it doesn't work out for June.

I'm starting to like the idea of trailering both a new (to me) Wing and the Tiger.  I can always ride the Wing down another time, which would give me another excuse for a bike trip.

"Whether it's in the Big Bend area or up toward the Ozarks"         Hey Mike, If you ever decide to do this, let me know. I live right in the heart of the ozarks.  I see people from all over the country every time i ride.. :-D

If I can swing it, everyone here will know about it.  Fair warning I guess.  LOL!

I did a Magna Riders Association Rally in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and the roads and riding conditions were great!  I would prefer a return to this area, but wherever the gathering happens would be fine.  I haven't been to a bad location for one yet.
