Title: Chain Oiler.
Post by: connor on October 25, 2008, 03:03:41 AM
Hi...

Have fitted these chain oilers to my bikes.

In short I think they are brilliant. Very simple but very very effective.  If you go to....www.chainoiler.co.uk.....you'll see the product.

I don't really mind getting my hands dirty and cleaning / lubing the chain but these oiling kits are a bit of a godsend.

Was told that two English bikers sat in a pub drew up the plans for it on a couple of beer mats 'cos they were fed up with oiling their chains and did not want to spend lots of money on another well known product.

The kits themselves look a bit Heath Robinson when you open the packaging but written instructions guide you through the installation which takes maybe a couple of hours.  You do not need to be technically minded or particularly handy to install it.

They often say the best ideas are the simple ones and I think that applies in this case.  Been very pleased with the kits on all my bikes and think you may find it worthwhile to take a look at em.

Anything that helps those chains and sprockets last longer....!

Regards...Connor.

Yep I have a ProOiler on mine which does it electronically by distance so no drip and oil viscosity does not matter hot or cold...
