Post by: dgc67 on December 15, 2008, 04:22:58 PM
Here is the manual tire changer I got off of CL for $50.  Anyone in the Houston area ever needs to come use it just let me know.

Advertize on CL, Wanted, Harbor Freight motorcycle tire changer or one similiar.
Someone has bound to have bought one they don't need or want any more.. Friend of mine just brought me a bead breaker for motorcycle tires (we change his tires also) he picked up at harbor freight for twenty bucks. All I need now is a couple of new tire spoons.

Nice snag, you will like it once you figure out how to use it. You will also find out weights are not cheap, about 7 bucks each for the proper center clip-on, unless you use the stick-on weights which will work I just do not like the look or sticky stuff on my wheels.

Most will buy a No Mar bar or a Mojo bar to keep from scratching the rims with the HF bar.

It came with instructions at least.  I won't use it often I am sure, but do have 2 brand new tires to mount eventually.
Nice thing is it breaks down enough to go up on a shelf.
