Would like to get a feel for how many people from the South Texas Region read the forum. We are in the process of trying to get organized down here and are planning our 1st wrench session in the next couple of weeks. We are going to do Sprockets, chains, and a basic oil change and then a ride afterwords. If interested or not if you are here in the South Texas Region, let me know.
Just how South is the South Texas Region?
I live in McAllen. Would probably take people from around here and meet at Delta Lake for the wrench session and possibly BBQ while wrenching and then go for a ride from here to say Port Mansfield or So. Padre.
Here is a map of the region

Anyone from our region that may be trying to make the MOOT Meet & Greet #7 at the Koyote Ranch in Medina Texas June 10-14th.
Just made my reservations for Thursday - Saturday Night for a Kamp Kabin.. Am Planning to leave Thursday Morning. If anyone else from South Texas Region would like to leave around the same time let me know... :D
I will be doing a little maintenance on my Magna this evening to get ready for MOOTMAG #7. Clutch Cable, chain & sprockets. I know its late notice but if anyone is interested in attending, let me know & I will give you directions. Thinking about riding to the Island for http://beachnbikerfest.com/ on Saturday if anyone is interested.
The Make A Wish Foundation is having a poker run this Sunday, May 31. I will be putting together a small group and am inviting anyone to ride with us. So far just 2 magna's including mine so would like to get more participation. They have not finalized the route yet. We can meet at my office around 8:00am. Ride is $50 per bike and is for a very good cause. Ride starts at Burns Motors and ends at the outback steakhouse where food and drinks will be provided. They will be raffling a 2 bike Bike custom trailer and will have door prizes etc. PM me with your e-mail and I will send you a flyer. I did this ride last year and had a great time.
I am going to be working on my bike this Saturday morning if anyone is interested in joining me. Going to install an electrical socket, oil change, and put on some passenger armrests that I ordered that should arrive Friday. Getting the bike ready for MOOT MAG #7. Have you registered yet? If anyone is interested on helping or just want to do some maintenance on their bikes you are more than welcome. Let me know.
Ok, finished the mods. Wasnt happy with the armrest I got because they were designed for moving in and out for easy entrance but did not lock down good. Ended up drilling through them and inserting Lynch Pins to secure. Works fine now. Also added the electrical socket direct to the battery with a 10amp fuse.

I'll be there! You did say Dallas. didn't you... :P
Need to wake up some of the MOOT people in the South Region, post up photos on here if you get a chance from your ride.
Ok, Left in the rain around 8:00, by the time we got to Weslaco the rain cleared. Rode back by myself to beat the crowd before they closed the causeway for the parade and bicycle race, hit rain again in Harlingen but cleared up by La feria. Had a great time. James from Brownsville met us on Hwy 100 at the Valero with a few more riders from Brownsville. Met Brian Andress from MI/Brownsville and his wife there at the convention center (nice folks). We split up the pack and I led about 8 bikes the rest of the way in to the convention center. Had a great time with a mixed group of bikes and the Java girls.
Link to some pictures. Enjoy.

Thanks for the photos, looked like you had a good group of riders, did you have two different groups, sport bikes & cruisers?
Not really, on the last leg my group was mixed, had a cruiser (Kawasaki) and one FJR, the rest were sport bikes.
Sorry S Tx region, but Just got back from a ride up to Delta Lake where Myself and Al (riding his new Honda Fury picked up Steve and his black Magna and rode to Port Mansfield using the back roads where we had a late lunch at Windjammers. This just fell together today. If any of you are up for last minute rides PM me your phone numbers and I will put you on the list. Sorry no pictures but was a beautiful day to ride.
Well I am going to post up a link to my pictures of the 2010 MOOT MAG #8 here. We had a fantastic time with friends and family. Hope to get some of you to go with us next year!

Allen did the cooking. He shared the food, it was GREAT! Greg also shared his birthday cake. Didn't take the kid's fish, a neighbor donated it to us. I'll Charles respond to that comment about the bike.... :-P

There is no such thing as an ugly RED motorcycle, however the riders are a totally different thing
I had to practically beg folks to take that cake! LoL....
