Happy end of winter...spring maintenance commences.
Do the throttle cables require lubing just like the clutch cable? Are they any how-to's? Have not seen anything on this topic. Otherwise, the throttle runs fine. I just want to keep it that way. Thanks!
Yes they need it just as well. Just make sure you use a dry lube like graphite powder. It is the BEST thing to use on any cable. Such as throttle, choke and speedo. Any hardware store or locksmith sells it. Hope this helps. :-P
Absolutely, Jumbo, thanks...I already have the cbale spray with the fitting you put over the cable end (THAT works well.... syringe, anyone?)
But since the throttle has never been touched (if it ain't broke don't fix it, right?) I'll probably take a deep breath and just replace them.

I have 65k on my throttle cables, and still going... I've never lubed them..
I do have a replacement set (Thanx Terry) in my garage that I will get to when I shim my carbs..
Right now I'm rigging up saddle bags, so the carbs have slipped down the list, one more time.
