Title: Bluebonnet Ride 4-4-2009
Post by: Smoked U on March 30, 2009, 07:04:57 PM

Weather looks good now.

I'm thinking about starting out at 10:30 am from the Chevron station. We have a little over an hour to our lunch stop.

Starting Point: Chevron Station, Southbound service road at I-35e and Pleasant Run Road in DeSoto, TX going to Bubba's BBQ in Ennis (Northbound service road I-45)

Bubba's BBQ to Palmer to Waxahachie to Maypearl (fuel stop here) to Grandview to Ovilla and back to the starting point. 3 1/2 hours of riding here.

Lots of turns and ups & downs on this one plus nice countryside.

When you stop at Bubba tell the Owner (i think Tom) that you are part of MOOT and hope he is contributing something to the MOOTMAG #7.

Greg mentioned something about this also. I mentioned MOOT and MOOTMaG to the owner when I was down there last Sunday and he looked at me like he didn't know what I was talking about. I let it slide, but will try to engage him on the subject again Saturday during lunch.

Well, Dave, I am at Bubba's and Tom remembered talking to you earlier this week and was wondering what happened to you guys today. He was ready and had a biker waitress ready to serve.
Hope all was well and nothing bad prevented you from getting out today.
