Title: Motion Pro Carb sync tool
Post by: dgc67 on April 19, 2009, 01:02:15 PM
Thanks to some awesome help from member Chad I am working on getting my "official" sync done today.  Only posting this for anyone who uses the Motion Pro.  I had an issue where:
1. I used it wrong
2. It had sat too long without cleaning.

Upon following instruction's (and some fluid, Thank you Chad!) from Chad I realized my outer to lines were partially clogged with the fluid.  I have flushed water through them and blown air 3 times now (per instructions for it) and STILL there is residual fluid.  I have it soaking in hot soapy water now.

So, my advice based on this experience is:
1. Wash them out when your done and do not replace fluid till you need to use it again.
2. Keep spare bottle of fluid on hand.  Not expensive, about $5.
3. "Sync" the synchronizer when you start.

Later today I will do an official sync and report how off they were.  Mind you, this set was never bench synchronized.  Only torn apart as far as you can tear em' apart.

They cleaned up nice after a good soaking and some air.  I never got around to doing the sync today though.  Such a beautiful day here, went for a ride and did stuff in the yard.  Got my generator cleaned up and ran it a little in prep for Hurricane season.
