Title: First Bike, questions
Post by: Hamers34 on April 24, 2009, 08:29:20 PM
hey there First post too! Im gonna get right to it. I want new handlebars for my 1984 Magna 700. The ones on it now are too.... narrow I guess? They're uncomfortable. I wanna buy some plug and play bars with a little less angle on em, more straight across I guess, without havin to replace all the cables and stuff. I seen some on jcwhitney.com but wanna touch em first ya know. bars are 7/8 dia. correct? any suggestions or links is greatly ppreciated. thanks.

7/8 dia. is correct. There are some adjustable handlebars that are OEM for the Magna and Sabre's, of course the black ones are for the Sabre and the chrome for the Magna. I see some on ebay occasionally but maybe someone on here has a set they dont need.

Like these?  If you do get them let me know.  I am thinking about them as well, but I find the stock ones comfortable I just dont like the look.
