Super Valkyrie!
Yes, that's right, I finally found my required rear tail light assembly and had time this afternoon to strip and assemble my "Poison Ivy" (green & silver) Interstate into a Super Valk. All I need now is some more polishing of once concealed bike parts and a "Darkside" tire.
After a good wash & dry, I'm ready to take it out this evening.
"Super Valk". Coming to a MOOTMaG near you.

Wow looks great!
I plan to SuperValk my IS this fall....but I want to keep the side bags and move the cb and radio antennas down or replace with a firestick short.......does anyone know where there is good instructions [step by step] on the Supervalk conversion?
Ok, I just spent the last three months hunting down the right hand saddlebag and mounting them to bring my Tourer up to standards :? so what is this Super Valk conversion everyone is talking about??
The rear fender looks similar to the newer Sabre fender.. Is it? Come on.. Some of us MAGNA riders are not in the know.. So can you fill us in a little on the "SuperValk" mods??

Well....I think Curtis is the expert round these parts on Supervalks; he's done one of his up that way

Essentially its a Valkyrie Interstate with the main trunk/passenger backrest removed, [and sometimes the bags as well]. It leaves the IS fairing married to the cleaner aft lines of the standard or tourer configurations. Best of both worlds. Looks great.
The trunk can be remounted quickly when wanted.
Im think of doing the change but I want to keep the cb/radio antennas....and want some info on wiring the standard's taillight and trunk rear speakers into a connector for quick reconnect
The Interstates have a totally different wiring harness due to the "dash" pod in the fairing so unless you wanna swap harness' you will need to start with the Interstate.
As Greg O. stated put a tourer/standard tail light and wiring harness, along with the rear fender rails and you have a Super Valk.
You can put the CB unit in one of the saddle bags, which I what I one day will do, just have to cut the side of the bag to get the harness in... But ones gotta due what the mod requires, right?.....
I still plan on aping mine out....Ape Hangers baby...the only way to go !!
You and those crazy ape hangers! Leave to you to always be out trend setter hehehehe.
Cant wait to see at MOOTMag and tell some more lie's!
