Title: Relay switch needed
Post by: Damn Yankee on June 03, 2009, 07:20:42 PM
Where's a good place to get a relay switch? I'd like to hook up a set of aux lights and control them through the hi-lo beam switch. What has been your experience wiring up additional lights with the Magna? Thanks!

Radio Shack has them for sure.. You may be able to get them cheaper elsewhere, but they have them.. Just make sure you get one rated with the correct amount of amps.. (go by the fuse size)

Any electronics store will have them, if you know a stereo installer ask where they get theirs, as they use them in custom installs/

Most auto parts sell them and they are rated at 30 amps.  I just installed a set of silver bullets on my friends 750 Aero.  It took less than 2 hours, but I removed the tank to route the wires.

Good to know... sounds simple enough, unless you're fooling around with this for the first time. Thanks, guys. :D
