Title: Another Seafoam question
Post by: Jamtndll on June 17, 2009, 01:07:41 PM
I ran out the other day so I went to buy some at the local auto parts place.  The guy behind the counter asked how long the shelf life for seafoam was.  I told him about 16 gallons long.  I told him that I never found out cause I USE IT.  So does anyone have an answer to this question.

How long will seafoam last on the shelf after it has been opened?

Thanks

I think you have given the best answer to that question....I don't think the manufacture would disagree with you either.....  :) :) :)

I think someone should contact Seafoam with some of our pictures and see if we can't get a supply as a donation for the next MOOT MAG!

All that free advertising should benefit us some how - right !

A good place to start is with Dave Shireman.  He has a picture of every photo spot in Luckenbach with a can of Seafoam in it.

Has anyone ever figured out how they collect that sea foam?
Do they use little scoops by the seashore?

We talked about this. I will get something together to hit the manufacturer and see what they think. Maybe get some cans for the MOOT community rally chest we have been discussing (spare parts/tools for our rides).[/color]

I heard, (on here?), that Wal-mart is not going to be carrying it anymore.

Going through my shelves after MOOTMAG, I found three unopened cans.  Seems I picked up one whenever I accompanied the wife to WallyWorld. I am probably good for a while. :-) :-)

Yes I posted that...The Wal-mart store here where I live said they would not be selling it anymore. I checked with the next one 6-miles away and got the same response..The same as well on the Mobil 4T oil...I bought the two cases they had left...Maybe it is just the stores in my area discontinueing products...Hope all you guys still find it cheap...Seafoam here at O'Reilrys auto parts $9.++? plus tax..
