Title: Guinea Pig
Post by: Hoss83 on July 09, 2009, 11:22:48 PM
I had my 65 Magna tank, side covers, rear cowling and front fender restored (painted) with new decals etc. I used the guy on ebay, his website is at... http://www.classiccyclerestoration.com/
He cleaned, removed a few small dings and dents, painted and installed new decals.
My parts came back and I'm very pleased....they look great. For $355.00 including return shipping it is a very good deal. The color is perfect, decals straight and correct in color also. My ride will look brand new. I've been the guinea pig before....wish they all turned out like this!
His name is Paul Owen.... paulwayne10@yahoo.com
Did an excellent job for me!

Good info Hoss, I will need a tank and side covers painted for my 74 Suzuki T500. Everyone seems to have a hard time with their painter getting the color right, it's a candy paint and the code is 2 digits, getting the proper number of candy coats for the depth along with the right color mix to begin with is the problem.

After all that I'm still skeptical, this is the part I dread, I won't it to be right. I will poke around on his site.
