Don't forget to check tire pressures periodically. I have not checked mine in a while and did last night. 29 psi in the front, 31 psi in the rear. Just a reminder! I noticed my bike rode and handled better coming to work this morning!
Mine gets squirrely if the pressure in the back tire is less than 40 psi. The K555 must have a really thin sidewall.
Ya, mike, your right. The tire calls for 36 psi up to 200# in the rear tire and 42 psi up to max weight limit in the rear tire. I usually try to keep it at 36 psi. I ride solo 99% of the time. This time when I checked it, it was down.
Good reminder. I am going out to check mine right now.
Remember the brand of tire matters on the PSI recommendations. Check with the tire manufactuer for recommendations.
FYI:
Dunlop K555 on the Magna 36psi (as stated depends on load)
Metzeler ME880 42 rear 40 front
I like 40 in the back with the K555...the usual 36 up front. Love the feel of a new tire in back, the new rubber really helps smooth out the bumps.
I need to change back to Texas air. I've been running Colorado air in my tires for the last week or so. 8)

I was careful not to let my Texas air escape in Colorado. Once they get a whiff of real air (thick, you know, with lots of moisture!), they will all be down here. Not sure we have room for 'em all...

Unfortunately I had to bring some of the Colorado air back with me. Might need to let it out and refill it with some good ol Texas air.
1 MORE WORD about Colorado and so help me GOD I am going to do an Ironbutt on my Valk when I get off and steal all the AIR from all your tires     Heheheheh Glad everyone made it back safe and had a good time !!!!
Um..........did I mention that Colorado was GREAT???!!!
Curtis
Oh Thats it next time I get off    I bet it was and I sure envy you and the guys. Planning a trip to my Dads which is only about 250 or so miles from the Dragon may have to run over there and I need to start my map like you have Curtis!!
Yes don't forget to check your tire pressure.
I just check my back tire (dark-side). I had less then 20 PSI. The only thing I notices is when speed shifting I could feel the back tire shift to the right. The front was around 32.

Maybe you have a hole in it? I have a nail in mine, been there for some time now, since it is not losing air...
I was having trouble with handling and kept checking my tire pressure. It was the right pressure. The tires had me spooked as I kept feeling the rear end coming around. I changed the rear tire before it was worn out only to find that my tire gauge was always reading High by about 10PSI. Check the gauge THEN check the tires.
