I was wondering if anyone has any plans or a place to purchase a engine rebuild cradle for the above engine. I just purchased a VF700C engine from Motolane.com it only has 11K on it. I will be swapping out engines probably in Oct. I then will want to tear down mine which has 42k and sounds like the Texas Chain Saw Massacre when backing off the throttle in third. Hopefull it is just a couple of bad cam chain tensioners. Is their a smart safe way to remove a 200 lb 2V using say screw jacks and a small dolly?
Thanks for your help in advance.
From what I have seen and done most have a motorcycle jack or at least a rollaround jack by the bike and just lift over to the jack and let it down from there now for all the younger indestructible guys they just lift it out and carry it where they want but ONE day AGE will catch up

Yes on both accounts.
You could have the engine on the jack and pick up the frame.
Now that is a good idea. I will be removing the front tire and forks at the same time. I need to rebuild the forks and replace the steering head bearings. I bought a Magna with 42K on it and I just love it and need to bring her back to life. I paid 1,200 by the time I am done I will have 2,000 in her, but she's worth ever penny. If I had this work done it would be twice that. I am picking up my new used motor on Thursday or Friday. It has 11,000 for a Honda that is just broke in. Thanks for the good idea.
