Title: Free 2002 Stock seat
Post by: mainerider on November 07, 2009, 08:52:00 AM

Hi,

I've gone back to my sportbike beginnings and bought 2 VFRs and sold my Magna. It went with a Mustang seat and I still have the stocker in excellent shape.  If anyone wants it it's yours for shipping.

I wish you kept the Mustang, I could have used that one.

Which VFR's did you get?

I have a '96 4th gen and an '04 6th gen. It's about 42 degrees right now here in Maine but I'm going out on the '04 in afew minutes. Like them both but with the lighter weight, the 2 brothers high-mount carbon exhaust and the deep red paint on the '96 it wins on the cool factor. I use the '04 mostly for work ( Givi top and side cases, touring shield, etc.) I did my cruiser thing but I really missed being able to tear up the twisties.

Very nice, post some pics when you can. I know what you mean about the twisties as I am really missing the track, it may not be as scenic as roads but it is a lot more fun to me.
