I managed to spooge up my nice new supertrapp exhaust with rubber marks from fat-footing the kickstand. I see where Wenol metal polish has been suggested and was wondering if it is available in any stores or if it is pretty much an online only item....
Thanks for your help.
I do it all the time in my stock exhauset.
WD40-cuts it off just fine for me and then I use some mothers metal polish
I use Wenol (when I can find it in my garage ). I believe it can be purchased in some Auto Parts stores and retailers, Unfortunately I can't tell you which ones.
But If you find out let me know, I think I need to buy some more or clean my garage and buying more would be a LOT less work!!!
Check out this link...This is were the local restoration shop gets his and he got me a tube of it last time he order...Make sure it is the original red....Not found local in m area so I'm told! Hope this helps..

I typically use a razor blade VERY CAREFULLY at a flat angle and VERY GENTLY scrape it then use some sort of WD-40 or such and be good with it. AS undoubtedly you will do it again MANY MANY MANY times LoL..
Oven cleaner works well on a warm pipe, but be VERY CAREFUL not to get it on anything else. I use oven cleaner, but I've made a cardboard fence that I use when oven cleaner'ing or cleaning/lubing the chain.

Quoteat a flat angle
Yeah, you know, it's flat, except it's at an angle.. Or is it at an angle, except that it's flat???
OH yes, a "flangle"
Flangle = less than 5° so that it works such as a scraper..
Anyone heard of a twingle?
