Title: Factory manuals
Post by: Smoked U on December 13, 2009, 07:51:53 PM
I have purchased a couple of new reprint Honda factory manuals from a publishing firm on the internet for some of these bikes I own. Unfortunately after a recent computer crash, I lost the web site address and all of my Googling has turned up nothing for this company.

One of you guys gave me this site/firm a couple of years ago.

Anybody got the answer?

I can't help you with a paper copy but I can help you with a digital copy for the V65 and VFKR you have, I'll just burn them to a disk if you are interested in that.

Not the same people I had before, but they do have a listing for what I was looking for this time.

Thank you.

I may be the last person on planet earth to pay for paper copies of the Magna manual and the more general Honda MC shop manual.

Sometimes I wish I had these on CDROM or even on my hard drive, as these are electronically searchable.  Both are reasonably well organized, though, and I haven't had much trouble locating the appropriate pages.

Rick is having some issues with his carbs leaking on his V65.  I would like to get a hold of the V65 service manual in digital format if possible.

Only if you did it in the past two months.

I much prefer the real books, myself, even if I have to pay for them. Must be the way my brain's put together, but I can access and absorb information much better from a traditional book, than I can with downloads or even printouts.

I like the actual book better because it easier to carry around in the garage and get greasy finger prints on.  I am a little paranoid about doing it with my laptop.
Have thought of putting an old pc in my garage for this type of thing, but just has not been a need to.  yet...
