Hi I'm not sure if parts are more readily available over there in the US (I'm in the UK) but when my pipe failed I struggled to find a replacement. At first I just used a normal straight house but it soon burst due to the sharpness of the bend, so I made a replacement out of copper plumbing pipe. I assume you have similar stuff over there but I took 2 copper integral solder joints (the type that have solder already in them and that you just heat with a blow lamp) each with a 90 degree bend and then joined them with as short a piece of copper tubing as possible. I then simply added a piece of rubber tubing on to each end again as short as possible and then used this set up to link the 2 petrol tanks. I'll admit its a bit of a squeeze to get it to fit in place under the rear tank mounting but provided you keep all parts as short as possible there is room just about. I carried this out on my own V30 that I use practically every day a couple of years ago and I've had no problem with leaks since.
