Title: time to paint/ powdercoat
Post by: lancer on March 02, 2010, 08:38:29 PM
I just sold my other bike so it is time to get my v45 painted. I just can't stand the purple anymore. I am going to have the wheels powdercoated glossy black and the tank and side panels painted black. I have a couple of questions for you guys if you don't mind;
1. can i have the tank powdercoated or would paint be the best alternative? I definitely want a HIGH gloss but would love the durability of powder.
2. Long shot here- has anybody sold their early v-45 and forgot that they had a good set (or one) of the side covers on a shelf that they want to rid themselves of now? I am watching Fleabay and will gladly go that route, but i thought i would ask. Glad to pay dearly for them, and color does not matter; but i would rather deal with another MOOT member than scammers.

Thanks,

I've been watching the auctions also and the right cover seems to be the rarer of the two.

Going to have to find a replacement for the missing right cover for my v45.
