Someone posted these elsewhere and thought I would share..
I heard Pledge is good for polishing your bike, but it's evidently good for mounting tires too!!!

Since I only have the two 24" tire irons, I'm not too far behind this guy, but not THAT bad...
Did you check out this guys pants!!! Is he competing with Tyler Perry's Mr. Brown???

Good videos, Hoot. I most resemble the last guy, except that I don't have the HF tire changer, and didn't buy the two tire irons until after I failed with a plethora of crow bars of various sizes.
I did buy the HF bead breaker -- on sale for $20 or so, and it was quite helpful.
Since then I have used the experience and the two tire irons to insert tubes into two of the small diameter fat tires on my lawn tractor. The rear tire was too wide to fit on the bead breaker, so I placed the tire/wheel on my floor jack, and pushed it up under the hitch receiver on the back of my pickup.
Hey, I don't need no stinkin' tire changer!!
-- especially one for $350! I won't live long enough to recover that much investment in a tire changer. At ~ $20/tire to mount and balance, I could have 17 tires changed and never even bruise my hands!!
If there were enough MOOTsters close to my place, I might spring for the HF changer and adapter, especially if I could find them on sale. I bet I could weld up an adapter to fit on a hitch receiver. I could then rent use of the rig for a small fee, like maybe a six pack of my favorite beverage -- to be consumed ADRFTD (After Done Riding For The Day) of course....

I first tried to use my wife's Sabre Kickstand to break the bead, but it was not at a steep enough angle to get the job done, so I used a big C-Clamp to break the bead.. I Didn't care if it damaged the tire since it was coming off anywayz..
I found it interesting in the 1st video using the piece of leather and the clamp, It made me think about using a piece of leather to protect from the tire irons as well.. I did get a few nicks in my rim (which I filed back down) but nothing serious...
Any thoughts on the Pledge.. When I was struggling to get my car tire on, I went to Napa and bought a gallon (Only size it comes in) of Ru-glide (made for installing tires), so I have enough for about another 100 tire changes..
Did you like the guys pants???!!!
I didn't know whether to laugh :D or cry , I hope that last video was strictly for entertainment!! I have wrestled more than my share of first time projects that didn't fair much better,,, BUT I didn't make a video and put it on you tube, :D He does get an A for tenacity  Oh and the pants were fitting for that video :D :D

Yeah, I liked the use of the C-clamp and leather to hold the bead in place. That could have saved me some effort, for sure.
As for the lubricant, I used a bit of spray detergent -- slick enough, and doesn't harm the rubber -- BUT, it dries out quicker than the "real stuff", so you have to work fast. I think the furniture polish may be a good idea, or maybe not. I know some organic compounds are harmful to rubber, but don't know what is in Pledge, so can't even ask my chemist son about it.
Thanks for vids. I've got some fence posts I need to pull up.
