OK.. It looks like in the picture that there is a chrome tube running back along the right side of the engine.. Is that an air horn hose them??? The California models have a similar tube that is held in place by the big bolt on the right side of the motor.
Didn't Lawrence have a Car tire on his bike?? He changed that out?? Details please...
Oh, That would explain the persistent burning in my ears!!!
I am headed out of town Friday to the previous conflict that kept me from showing up.

We made it home safely a few before noon. Had a great time as always! IT was great to see everyone again! Hope to see the rest of your next year!!!!!!!
Well, we made it home....With a litttle snafuu...the Uhaul trailers tire blew and I had to change it on the side of the road after having to take the spare into Timpson Texas to luckily find a tire garage open to plug the spare....the tire that blew wasnt good from the get-go...I worried about that going home. Anyway 2 hours of that and we were back on the road...Home safe and sound. Great time as usual..Im ready for another MOOTMAG.

All secure in Tecumseh Oklahoma.
The two-ship of OIkies dissolved the formation in Asher OK and proceeded single ship for our respective home fields. Lead (Brad) was last seen heading west on Hy 36.
Thanks to all for a GREAT MOOT MAG!

Man, that is a good telephoto lens on that camera. That gator was too far for me to get a shot at him and I was in the back of the boat closer than you were.
According to our guide, this reptile was about 12' long. That sucker sure could move fast.

We made it home fine after a short visit with my Dad who lives at hideaway lake off I 20 near Tyler. Had a great time and enjoyed seeing everone looking forward to next year thanks everone for a great time.
Got home this afternoon at about 2:30. Rick and I had a pleasant ride, mostly in the cooler air of the morning. Late breakfast, skipped lunch to head for home. Parted in Buda, where I hit reserve, so I stopped for gas, even though it wasn't that far to home. Actually, my bladder "reserve" was all used up...
Total mileage for the trip was 1,250.7 miles -- going, coming, and riding with great bunch of folks.

Nevermind, I figured it out and have a better background in place now.

I have two '96 Magnas, Hoot. Bought one last fall for a friend to ride in April. Spent spare time in winter fixing it up, including the car tire.
Even the best riders can only ride one Magna at a time, so I had to choose. I chose to take the Blue Bike I started with and leave the red one at home. Tough choice, as I like them both, but the red bike has Jardine forward controls, and while they are great for a short distance, for long rides, I prefer the regular pegs combined with the highway pegs, so I can change my leg position from time to time. Anyway, the car tire is on the red bike.
The chrome tube is really plastic, covered with chromed split shielding I bought at Pep Boys. You are right, it powers the horns on the right side, bought from Harbor Freight for $14.95 plus shipping. The rotary pump is under the seat squeezed in front of the battery box.
Rick and I rode through about 100 miles of wet road grime, including ample amounts of Texas red dirt, to get there -- so the great spit and polish job I did before I left was rendered uh, well, moot. By Friday evening, the rain had largely disappeared, so I found a garden hose and washed off most of the grime -- well after Alan had mounted the new tire (which Len donated to MOOT) to replace the one that suffered a nail puncture on the way there (the reason we were rather late arriving.)
Since my bike was the only one that had been washed, it was voted "best overall", at the traditional show and vote session. Go figure...
THanx man for clearing things up for me..

Yeah, Im even going to try and not pay at all. It sucked out there in the hot sun...its one thing to have a tire blow, but then the spare was no good also..give me a break !!
We made it home yesterday about 1:00 without any problems. Enjoyed the company and great food and look forward to next year! To those that missed it you really need to make one or at least a wrench session to check us out.
One thing I am wondering is if hell froze over since Bob B.(Frisco Bob) was not there. :-P Guess I better go by his house and see if he is still around.
Thanks for letting our little group from T-town crash your party 8) we really enjoyed seeing everyone, hope to see you all again soon, glad everyone got home safe.
We arrived home around 7:00. No real issues other than the Truck A/C kept freezing up so it was a little warm. Great time can't wait for the next one. Kids had fun too!!!
