Title: Need help with turn signal screw
Post by: DadDontTwitter on July 20, 2010, 08:35:15 PM
Asking if any of my Mootster brethren may have a spare turn signal screw to fit a 3rd gen Magna.... I have been to a few hardware stores and the best I can come up with would require much redneck engineering....

Have you tried Ace Hardware, I have found nuts and bolts there that I couldn't find anywhere else.

Which screw are you looking for?  The lens screw or the screw that holds the signal to the frame mount?

I checked Ace, no dice......It is the screw that attaches the turn signal assy to the frame.... Bugle head machine screw, about 1/4" or so. Also I am on the lookout for passenger pegs.
Thanks!

I lost one once, or two, can't remember. However, I went online and found you can buy a pack of 4 from http://www.hondapartshouse.net/pages/parts/viewbybrand/7/Honda.aspx (http://www.hondapartshouse.net/pages/parts/viewbybrand/7/Honda.aspx)

I can't give you the exact URL as from this page it's dynamic content and the URL doesn't change.

Anyroad, pick your bike, then pick 'Turn Signal' from the 'change assembly' drop down on the right. Part 21 is the screw I lost but the whole assembly is there for individual part purchasing.

I seem to remember that the shipping was about the same price as the part. Nice.
