How often do you rotate your tires in you car/truck/bike?
Is once a year good enough? I think what shops/manufactures recommend sound like the 3000 mile/oil change bs.
Thoughts?
The tires on my Magna get "rotated" every time I ride it :-?
Seriously though ... I rotate the tires on my cars roughly every six months or 6,000 miles.
Discount Tire will do car/truck tire rotation for free, even if you aren't a current customer. Of course, you are likely to have to wait. But if you can catch them at a slow time, it's quick and easy, and the best price.
I usually put less than 10k per year on my pickup so I don't worry about rotating them too much. If it occurs to me somewhere in the middle of their lifespan they may get rotated once.

Ditto for me.
I have never rotated the tires on my 2002 Silverado. The tires seem to wear evenly, so what is the point? :-)
Thanks.
I heard about the discount tire gig but they are not close to me.
I just paid to get the tires rotated on my parents little suv. Its been about 3 years since they were put on so I felt it was justified. After getting them rotated, nothing looked or felt different ha. It cost me $20.00.
Next comes the other little suv.
I don't think I'll do it with the pickup truck because I also don't drive it very much.
I mostly just wash/wax/haul (with a tiny bit of light offroading in there). I like to keep it looking all nice waiting in the garage, and just drive the beater around town :).
