Title: exhaust pipes cherry red

Hi, the two rear pipes on my 86 v65 turns cherry red between heads and muffler.The bike has sat about a year.Gas had stabil in it. I put new gas in, pulled carbs,jets were clean, pulled rear chrome pipe to see in muffler cant see any blockage. Any ideas?

I think you are on the right track.. blockage is usually the cause of such a condition.. Any chance a mouse went up the pipe and built a nest??

I would be concerned those two cylinders are running extremely lean.
