Well, I am at home today in pea soup fog and drizzle.  If it is raining on March 5, I will not come.  Otherwise, I look forward to seeing you all in Snook.

It looks like we need to get our route together and pick our meeting place for the Houston area.  (Since Allen abandoned us )  Who's in?
We need to be in Snook around 11AM to seat a large group.

I hope to come, but may have to work -- a test facility I need to use for a client is really loaded, and we may only be able to access it on a Saturday -- and of course, as always in my industry, they are in a terrible hurry for the data.  I should know in the next few days.

I know I started this thread but I am going to have to bail out on this ride my 88 year old Father fell and broke his hip so I am going up to Tyler to visit with him and help get the house ready for him to move around in a wheel chair for a while he also cracked his elbow when he fell.

Saturday:  Cold Front, scattered rain early if your coming from the south, 20mph winds.  Sounds like a post-flu, bronchitis ride to me but I think my wife just bailed.

Here's the Houston area forecast for tomorrow, the forecast is generally the same for Snook:

Cloudy. A chance of showers until late afternoon. A chance of thunderstorms in the morning. Highs in the upper 60s. Temperature steady or slowly falling in the afternoon. North winds 5 to 10 mph in the morning increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 50 percent in the morning decreasing to 30 percent in the afternoon.

However, if it's not actually pouring out come around 9am tomorrow morning I plan on pulling out of my driveway and heading northwest to Snook.  If it is raining I may just hop in the truck and drive up anyway.

Marc

The weather wasn't that bad, little cold, windy but 99.9% dry. The cashier at the restaurant indicated that I was the only biker that showed up.
Re-scheduled huh?

I hope you had a great lunch and I hope you can make the reschedule.
I was in Bellville when the cold front came through.  The rain was never anything more than sprinking and the temp hit the upper 50's then back up to 60 when the clouds cleared out.  It was windy but it didnt affect my ride because I was in my truck.  Yes!  My wife realized I wasnt going to Snook she drug me to Market Days.  Luckily there was a big classic car show going on and she didnt drag me to every antique store in town.

I re-looked at CFB.  4 hours one way could be a little long for me right now.
