I always thought they were horned toads, but maybe this place is named for their reproductive proclivities?

By the way, they are probably going extinct -- fire ants eat them for breakfast.

No, there is still a large group of us alive, well, and livinng in Ft Worth. (TCU, 1984-1986 MLA while stationed at Carswell AFB). :lol:
