Title: front engine mounting bolts
Post by: yellow_magna on May 24, 2011, 09:24:41 AM

Hi all, from the uk,
have just had some front footpeg brackets made up for my 95 magna, which they are designed to fit to the top & bottom engine mountings, the top front engine mounting bolts seem to be seized, they have to come out, have measured top 2 bolts, they are 41/2" long, with the new brackets will need them at least 5" long I realise they have to be high tensil bolts, they are a size 14mm on head but does anyone on here no the size/diameter of the thread bolts, unable to measure across thread till I get bolt & nut out,  I have no workshop manual on this bike some one on here kindly told me the torgue settings on the top bolts, would be great if someone knows the size of thead on those 2 top engine mounting bolts, thanks.

Here is the manual in a PDF http://modernmusclecars.net/evilone/Magna-Service-Manual.pdf

Not at home but I am sure someone can get the sizes.
