Title: Choke assembly
Post by: Nix22 on June 20, 2011, 06:18:50 PM
I got my magna about 2 months ago and it's all stock except for holes drilled in endplates. The bike was having a rough time starting ( had to warm up for 10 minutes before any throttle could be applied ) so i cleaned the carbs. Everything went good, even the +1 shim ( still notice slight hesitation between 4-5k) but now when i pull choke and press back in the assembly sticks a little abd i have to pry back with screw driver. Did i install  spring incorrectly?

There are some spacers that go between the slides or bars that attach to the choke levers if those are not there or instaledl incorrectly it will not slide and cause it to stick.

I followed one of the guides on here pretty closely and put them back the way that i (thought) they were installed when i took them off. I guess I'll take them off and see what I can do. Thanks!!
