Title: I have searched to no avail...horns and relays
Post by: sdswingr on August 02, 2011, 05:08:04 PM
So I am attempting to install a set of dual FIAMM freeway blaster horns...I had them on my previous bike, and they did their job well.
I have searched here, have searched google...tried this...

Roughly copied http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Products/Horn_Kits/body_horn_kits.html#dualhorns (http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Products/Horn_Kits/body_horn_kits.html#dualhorns)wiring harness..and nothing..I ended up blowing my 15a fuse on the bike..
any help here would be appreciated...

I can get one to work with the stock wires...but it isn't as loud as it should be...which is why I am trying to install with a relay...

Did not have time to look at your link but you must use a relay pulling from your battery to blow the horn.

I like air horn people now you are there
