yup, I asked. First time having to replace a battery. Searching the web sites of the local auto parts, I never saw anything about motorcycle batteries. Maybe I missed it? Do I have to go trough the dealer?
I am biased....but, you asked.

Order tonight or in the morning and you will have it by Friday.
If you don't want to wait they sell them at walmart, however Terry sells a better battery.

I got my battery at oreiley auto parts, seems to work well even in cold weather when the bike was running better than it currently is. I was able to start my bike at 32F in the morning. Now the bike is having some troubles though it is near impossible to start at these temps...
I bought a "Motobatt" battery off Amazon for my wifes V-twin Sabre based on a recommendation, and it seems like a good battery at a reasonable price
anyone know what brand battery is shipped from the factory?

Here (http://www.amazon.com/MBTX12U-MotoBatt-Quadflex-YTX14H-BS-YTX14L-BS/dp/B003YMRH70/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1319127738&sr=8-1) is the "Motobatt" Battery.. It is a multi-application. It comes with top or side mount and a couple of boosters for the bottom to make the battery taller.
