Come on, Terry, slow down a little, your not on the Magna..
As for riding, not sure, concentrating on my car build right now. Did put new tires on the Rocket (paid Maxim to put regular tires on).

Len, I have a back-up. An extra '96 Magna which you are quite welcome to ride should your repairs extend longer than planned. Finagle or purchase a ride to Austin, and we can ride out from here. Nice trip going and coming. I will even pick you up at the airport if you so choose.
I have managed to trade a week with a co worker so count me in plan on bunking with Dave. Shirt size large. Is it June yet?
If anyone wants to donate towards the T Shirts shoot me a PM and I will give you my paypal address this is not necessary to get a Shirt but id you want to pitch in let me know if I receive excess I will give it to Greg to go towards MOOT
Also if you are not going to attend but would like a T Shirt they will be 15$ each these proceeds go towards MOOTMag so even though you cannot make it you will get a shirt and help us have a great MOOTMag. I need your order by May 1st though to make sure we have them in time.
Thanks MOOTsters see you all at MOOTMag 10

Good deal Jerry. Glad to have you join me & Sue. The Den is a neat place to stay for folks who are comfy with each others company.
OK so working on the T Shirts his design team is refining the scratch I sent him LOL Anyhow I will keep everyone posted on how things are coming
and hopefully give you an idea on how they will look.
If you do not see your name on the list on the 1st post and you are coming please let Greg or I know so I can get you up there and get your Shirt size.
I have this on my radar, but I won't know until my company posts work schedules for that month. We have a huge, 2 year construction project going at our shop, so some time off is likely. I wish I could commit to this right now, but getting time off from work will depend on how construction lay-offs fall for me. There have been some already, but we are supposed to be down sometime in late May to mid June for rafter and major work, so it is possible.
Now understand, I'm about 1,400 miles away up here in Michigan, so I'm looking at 2-3 days riding each way. But I told Greg I would really try to work it out for this one. If I can get the Rally week as a lay-off, I can fudge the rest of the time off with vacation days.
I'm in. Reserved my kamp cabin last night.

Does anyone have preference on color I am thinking black and Navy blue any ideas welcome.
Great looking design!! I really like it.
I am partial to Navy Blue, but will certainly welcome either color.
Good job, Allen
Looks great I like Navy blue also. Is it June yet.
The way you have it looks good with the black.
I like black. Looks Good!!!
Ok well Black and Navy Blue sounds good will half the order between shirts. Thanks Guys
Ok have the final she sent it in a PDF so kinda hard to attach if anyone wants to see shoot me a PM and I will email it to you the file that is.
Black makes my butt look big (ger). I'll take a Navy one - XL.
I am planning to ride down Thur. am with Lowell Yoder. We will meet somewhere S or SW of Fort Worth probably around 8:00 am. Any/all who are also departing Thur. from metromess or points near are welcome to join us.
30 days. I need this trip.
Jeff Atkins
If there is still time, I will need an XL shirt for Sue. Be sure to include one for the t-shirt wall at the Koyote Ranch store.
Am not going to make it this year. I am going to be starting a new job in August and will have to go 2 months without a pay check. So we are saving as much as we can. You guys have a great time
Mike Petersen I really hope you can make the trip! Looking forward to it!
Well Greg, I told you I would try. As of yet, I haven't found out about the work schedule. Trying to get information out of management is like trying to pull a tooth with 3 roots! LOL!
With this event getting closer to date, it isn't looking good for me. I am heading back to work tomorrow, so I will try again to see when the shutdowns are scheduled. I figure I need 4 days each way, plus rally time. So I would need all of the rally week plus 3 days of the following week. IF I can do it, I would leave for Texas on Sunday, June 10th, and head out for home on the following Sunday, June 17th. I would plan to arrive back home on Wednesday, June 20th. Very do-able, if I can swing the time off.
I just wish I could have planned this earlier. Long trip for such a short time to plan. I'll keep ya posted.
I am still going to try and go to part of MOOTMag. I recently changed jobs and am slightly limited on time off and...I bought a new toy this last week and dunno if a Koyote Ranch cottage is in the budget.
Here is the new toy.....

Nice addition, Lucky you!
Hi everyone. I am planning on attending, hopefully for the entire shebang, but I'm having to make trades at work as I'm scheduled to be on-call that entire week. *crossing fingers*
Introduction (this is my first post):
My name is Brandon, and my first motorcycle was a red '94 Magna VF750 that I purchased in October 2007. In the summer of 2008 I took two weeks off from work and arranged a 17 day solo road trip where I visited most all of my family on the east coast by driving through 16 different states. Later that same year I took my Magna down to visit a friend in Houston and wiped out on some gravel getting onto I-45. I ended up breaking my ankle and loosing that bike. After a couple of surgeries and having my cast/boot off, I purchased a black '01 Magna VF750. I got that Magna in slightly sad shape and had to let it sit while I was working in Albuquerque for a year. Got a better job, so now I could afford to fix up my Magna. Ready to ride again!

***EDIT*** I guess I fail at forums, can't get this to work yet.
***FURTHER EDIT*** I figured it out.
Great, you are not too far from me, we will have to go riding sometime.
I'll know tomorrow if I'll be able to make the start of MOOTmag #10, but no matter what I can at least make the weekend portion.
Oh yeah, please reserve me an XL shirt if any are still available.
Not a problem Xl it is see ya there. Look forward to meeting you in person.
Hey, whomever sent out the message yesterday, I gotta say thanks!
I hadn't realized the dates changed, and now it may be possible to make it... This would make two deep Texas trip weekends in a row!
Too late to order up a shirt or a campspot? (yes, I'm *that guy* hopping on board late....)
Potentially could make it Friday-Sunday, need to check with the SO
Hop Along
Not to late at all and the T Shirt should be no problem as far as a camping spot check with the ranch or just show up we will find you someplace to camp or bunk.
Anybody have an extra bed/room for rent? I will be there 3 nights (Thur., Fri. and Sat.). In an attempt at full disclosure, my wife claims I sometime snore. She is probably right. It seems to be worse when I am tired and/or have been drinking. Thus, it will be a problem on this trip. But earplugs are not just for riding.
Let me know.
Jeff Atkins

Jeff check with Smoked U I am pretty sure he has some space avaible in the den he has reserved, bring ear plugs for everone. lol. Is it June yet.
Disregard my last post. My wife said it would be a violation of the 8th amendment to subject anyone to my snoring. I just reserved Kamp Kabin #22, which is near the pool.
Also, the lady I spoke with said only 1 Kamp Kabin remains available for the weekend. If you still need a room, get it now - sounds like the place will be packed.
Jeff Atkins
Great news. I've shuffled off my on-call duty that week, and got the managers to grant my leave, so I'm going!
So is anybody driving down? I have some luggage that I won't be able to bring on my Magna since I don't have a sissy bar/luggage rack on this new Magna. Or better yet, does anybody have a sissy bar/luggage rack? I have a huge luggage pack/roll I could utilize, but I can't attach it without that sissy bar/luggage rack.
Also who's got sleeping space available?
EDIT: I'm looking into buying a sissybar & luggage rack from Cycle-istiC and I've arranged a bunk in Dave's cabin.
Shoot Dave a PM I think he has space user name SmokedU .
Hop a Long- Let me know by phone if you plan on going to MM10. Trent from Tecumseh is planning to go along with myself.

Brad,
My SO is in agreement that we should go, just have to line things up at work.
At best, we could leave Thursday lunch... at worst, Saturday AM first thing and return Sunday. Work beckons.
Hop Along
Allen,
Put me down for a XXL & XL, looks like you are not charging for these but I can't take these gratuitously, I will give you the funds, just tell me how you want it.
Allen,
Please put me down for a large shirt. Although I can't be there for the entire event, I will arrive Thursday and leave Sat. I am also catching up on few maintenance items. I got the new rear tire put on yesterday. Still have the new chain and sprockets to install. Slow down Mike, you've got time. OK, I have to go mow the acre and 3/4.
Got ya and just to let everyone know if I run out of a size we can get some more just have to order more and I will get them out hopefully I ordered enough LOL
Please keep in mind Allen has been gracious to purchase the shirts for MOOTMag attendee's. If you would like to donate to help him please do so. I would personally ask if you getting a shirt and NOT attending to please dontate... Just my $0.02 worth.

If you want to go to Mama's and Daughters before meeting up with the group in Venus then let's meet in the Whataburger parking lot outside the Walmart at 423 and 121 at 06:00 AM. That would give us 2 hours to get to the restaurant, eat, and get to the meeting point.
If you aren't up for breakfast then we can meet up the rest of the gang at the Whataburger/Exxon station on US Hwy 67 at FM157 at 08:00 AM.
That is the one by Golden Corral?

That is the one by Golden Corral?
Yes, it is.
Well, I think so. I can't verify via google maps. 423 is Josey Lane on the other side of 121.
I drove by it today, and I can confirm that there is a Golden Corral next to the Whataburger.
I will be there, rain or dawn at 6 a.m.

Well, I'll be there unless it's pouring down rain. I don't have ANY rain gear to speak of..........not much room for luggage on my B-King either! We'll just play it by ear, I'll keep in close contact with Dave (SmokedU) and may have to end up catching ya'll down the road. My plan is to be there in the morning though!

Made it home safely. Had a great time looking forward to next year.
Arrived in Norman ~5:15. Ran into a shower between Gatesville and Waco, a thunder storm going through Plano, and a severe t-storm(wind and hail) near Davis, OK. Good way to cool down. Had a great time at MM10, renewing friendships, and meeting new Mootsters. Always fun to ride the 'Twisted Sisters'.

I made it home yesterday around 5pm. Came up 281 then smaller roads zigzagging NE from whichita Falls up to Norman. Just missed the rains clouds, and enjoyed their coolness ;-)
Then was bummed watching the Thunder lose. Exciting game to watch though.
had a great time meeting folks and putting faces to names. The challenge will be keeping the right faces attached to the right names in my memory....
