Title: Can someone help id these pipes for me?
Post by: iceprizm on January 30, 2012, 07:30:29 AM
I found these on craigslist: http://tucson.craigslist.org/mcy/2712040568.html
Not sure what brand they are, but they appear to be missing baffles. Maybe cobras?
And the bluing concerns me. Is that much normal? And that part is inside the stock pipes so it wouldn't be visible, right?

Looks like Cobra and the bluing is normal in that area, if it were a concern it would be from there bike, not yours.

If you could see up in the pipe ID might be easier.

Anyway for 25 dollars I would be all over those.

I know right for $25. I thought the bluing might be in a visible area, but looking at the cobras it looks like that area goes into the stock pipes.
Ive never taken the stock pipes apart, so Im just guessing. I havent heard back from the poster yet, so I'll wait and see.

Slash Cut Cobra's.  Blueing is from a lean air fuel ratio.
