is there a diagram of all the vac lines?
last week I had every part off the bike to correct a minor frame prob. The bike was in a minor accident. I ended up with an extra vac line that is about 3 feet long. 2 feet then a T and another foot of hose. Now that I think about it, that could be a fuel vent hose...
If 3rd gen. My guess is the vent tube from the gas tank.

I believe the vent tube for the tank is just a straight tube with no "T"..
Maybe a vent tube that connects between two carbs?
Maybe I'm confusing the Magna and the Valk, but I seem to remember that the vent line does have a T that nothing goes into. I seem to recall a lot of guys asking what they forgot to plug in.
If I can think of it, I'll check my Maggie when I get home for lunch.
On the Valk there is a T it serves 2 purposes one to allow excess fuel to flow out the bottom lol and second and most important when it rains the tube would clog up sort of and kill the bike so the T is higher in the bike and allow sit to breathe. Been there got that T Shirt. Not sure about the Magna go figure but I would say that it should have one.
Its the tank vent line.
thanks all. I am waiting on my carb kits and I will let you know how it all turned out.
