This bike is as much magna as it is anything else...  Magna wheels, Front end (modified steering stem), electric controls.

It is going to be a soft rubber so I am not sure how many miles it might get.  I don't think that the drag cars that race them ever drive enough miles to wear the tread down since they are only going a 1/4 mile at a time.  It is not a DOT tire but I am sure I will not have any problems since I have no inspection.  This tire is 26x4.5x15 with a 6.5 section width.  It should be here Tuesday and I will get pics of the bike as soon as it is mounted.  I personally would not waste the money on this tire if I had a rear fender covering it up.  I will see how it does but I might have to tube the tire and add wheel screws to hole the tire on like I had to do for the Hoosiers that I have on the rear of my Ford Ranger.

Now that I think about it... this ride will have 3 of my favorits all wrapped up in one..  CB750 SOHC, Gen 3 Magna, and race cars.  If it only had a sidecar for my dog...

All I can say is:

Actually I run darkside on my Valkyrie and will probably do the same on Maggie at the next tire change.
But that looks like a race tire. Really soft rubber? I guess I'm missing the benefit unless you are drag racing with it.

It will NOT perform as well as a regular car tire.. regular car tires are radials and the softer sides keep the tire under the bike in corners.. I would think this tire would have harder sidewalks, and if so, will not perform well in corners

From someone who used these type of tires on the front of my drag car, would NOT use these on a motorcycle.............

Sidewall is much softer than a traditional car tire.

I cannot get that damn tire to pop.  It looks like the bead is about 1/8 inch too small to properly set.  I have tried stretching it with no luck.  I bought a tube and I will try it again.

How much pressure have you tried to set the bead with.
