Title: exhaust
Post by: ripster31 on June 27, 2014, 12:00:24 PM
Now that i got my bike all fixed up, I am not happy with the modified exhaust of the stock pipes.  I want my bike to sound deeper and little more growl.  Any suggestions on a set of pipes.  I have seen alot of pipes to buy, but what are some of your favorite pipes on your magnas.

I believe the two most popular are Vance and Hines or jardines. Jardines are proably the louder of the two but the chrome is not as good. Vance and Hines have double plated chrome however they charge you for it.

Super Trapp IF you can find them are great pipes mild to wild but they are not made anymore and hard to find.

The mufflers are still available (Summit Racing, J&P Cycle to name a few). You may have to have some pipe work done at the local bender.

Never, never, ever buy Cobra pipes for anything. Their chrome is junk.

Do not run straight pipes on a V4. They sound like crap.

What he said, Vance and Hines, they will give you the growl you hunger for but I think they stopped making them for the Magna.
