Title: Parts Magna
Post by: guywheatley on June 28, 2014, 06:06:38 PM
I found this 94 Magna at a motorcycle salvage place in Fort Worth. They're asking $4,500 as is. They say it needs carb work, but they would rather part it out.
I have no affiliation with this business, but thought that some of you guys might like to know about it.

I think they have it way over priced you can find really nice magna's on Craigslist for less than they want.

These guys are hitting the "Peace Pipe" too much. No fender, repainted and needs the carbs reworked.

I wonder how much someone could get by parting out a Magna.  If exhaust is in good shape someone would want it (especially if completely stock), and I bet someone is always looking to replace a dented tank, I could use handlebar and lower right exhaust that hasn't been slightly bent and scratched from previous owner's low speed drop.  This one looks bare bones except maybe custom grips and highway pegs, looks like stock seat so not much demand for that, no backrest, no fairing, perhaps he already began parting out accessories!  Isn't headlight dented on it's lower right side?
